Despite many years in the Financial Services Industry, Cherie continues to enjoy every aspect of her job, whether it involves dealing with the more mundane, administrative tasks or engaging in more intellectually demanding, technical work. 

 

The diverse nature of her responsibilities keeps her motivated and helps to satisfy her need for continuous learning and personal development.

Outside of work, Cherie finds that her attempt to try to bring some order to her small garden is a great way to unwind, and walking her dog offers a wonderful opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and stay active. 

 

She loves reading, especially anything related to medieval history because Cherie feels that studying history provides an insight into how we have arrived at where we are now.    

With decades of compliance expertise, Annabel also co-runs Beginnings Ltd, for individuals wanting mentorship to apply for direct authorisation.

With a business-mind and a strong desire for change in our profession, she feels the time is right for change now.  Annabel feels the acceleration of Tech and AI will drive the cost of compliance down, leaving firms to focus on the business and people development.

Annabel is the regional chair of the PFS for Birmingham and is determined to engage with our Next Generation,.  She sits on the committee of the Birmingham Insurance Institute, and is an advocate of The Society of Mortgage Professionals, SMP

​

​As an advocate of self development and personal growth, Annabel mentors a significant number of new entrants into Financial Services, and anyone wanting to make changes to their lives.

​

Outside of work Annabel loves being with her family, and grandson.  She loves keeping fit and healthy.
